On Sunday, cyclists from all walks of life took to the legendary streets of Johannesburg for the Ride Joburg 94.7, hosted by the City of Johannesburg. Among the thousands who dared the tar, conquered the climbs, and embraced the city’s pulse was one of our very own CrossFit champions—riding proudly for Team Jack Russells.

For 28 years, Ride Joburg has done more than just test endurance. It’s a celebration of Johannesburg’s energy—where high-performance meets high altitude, and iconic cityscapes meet sweaty smiles. With roads closed off and the M1 highway transformed into a rider’s playground, athletes got to experience the city like never before. No cars. Just cadence, cheers, and personal records.
